Digital Diplomacy

The Consulate General of Israel in Los Angeles is establishing an exciting new project called Digital Diplomacy which brings our offline diplomatic efforts online while building a vigorous community of active citizen-ambassadors for Israel.

This section of the website highlights our core areas of Digital Diplomacy:

  1. Academic Affairs
  2. Community Relations
  3. Cultural Experiences
  4. Government & Politics
  5. Economic Cooperation

In each of the above core areas you will find a mission statement, contact information, latest news, and upcoming events; everything you need to understand our diplomatic efforts and get involved.

Citizen Ambassador Program

Central to our new Digital Diplomacy project is the Citizen Ambassador program. This new program allows you to create your very own profile on our website, learn more about what’s going on in Israel, and how you can help. Here are some key benefits to joining:

  1. Create your own Citizen Ambassador profile to connect with Israeli diplomats and other citizen ambassadors.
  2. Specify your key areas of interest and learn more direct from Jerusalem.
  3. Get email briefings on news and cultural events.
  4. Participate in special online events.
  5. Submit your own Israel-related events to encourage wider local community participation.
