Joe Yudin, a successful tour guide in Israel, recently hosted a skeptical New Yorker. While showing him Israel’s extensive history, Yudin also took the time to introduce him to its innovations for the future – more specifically, the electric car and Project Better Place.

The tourist, a proud gas guzzler, agreed to open his mind for a visit to the headquarters of Project Better Place. What convinced him? “First off it’s clean, and once Israel switches over completely from generating electricity nationally to natural gas, solar and wind power, the pollutants even at the power stations will be minimal. Secondly, it will end our dependence on oil which supports some of the worst regimes in the world,” Yudin explained.

After learning about the many benefits of Project Better Place and getting a video introduction from CEO Shai Agassi, the tourist and his tour guide went for a test drive. After pressing the power button, the car silently starts. The skeptical New Yorker puts it in gear and floors it, changing his mind to change the world.
