ISRAELI COMPANY PUTS AMERICANS BACK TO WORK
Jobsminer, an Israeli company, is on a mission to put Americans back to work. Launched in February of 2012, the free website allows users to seek out jobs posted on social networks that might not be listed on traditional job search websites.

According to Jobsminer's website, 82% of job seekers use social media networks to search for employment, amounting to 22 million people looking for their next source of income. The website capitalizes on this astounding statistic through a contextually sensitive algorithm, known as Makam, that searches social networks, forums, blogs and other non-traditional sites for positions. Once found, relevant postings are aggregated to the Jobsminer website where jobs can be searched by a number of criteria including location and how recently they were posted.
