This past week (June 17-24), a delegation of top decision makers in the U.S. energy industry got the chance to visit Israel as part of Project Interchange, an educational institute of the American Jewish Committee.

Among the visitors were Mark Brownstein, Chief Counsel of the Energy Program, Environmental Defense Fund; Scott N. Paul, Founding Executive Director of Alliance for American Manufacturing; Brian Wynne, Chair and President of Electric Drive Transportation Association; Stephen Walz, Director of Energy Planning for the Northern Virginia Regional Commission; Jorge Junquera, Advisor to the President and Senior Vice President of the Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico, and other top energy experts from government and the business world.

The trip was intended to establish strategic partnerships, foster professional cooperation, and encourage information-sharing between US energy specialists and their Israeli counterparts. As such, the delegation engaged in an itinerary focused on Israeli innovation as well as American-Israeli cooperation in alternative and clean energy solutions, including electric car, solar, and wave technologies.

What would you want Americans to know about Israeli technologies?
