Jerusalem of Ice
Visitors are still flocking to see the chilling fantasy world that is the Jerusalem Ice City Festival, where icy sculptures of sea creatures, dragons and dinosaurs exist in spite of a 25°C (77°F) heat outside.

The snowy extravaganza began on February 20 as part of an ongoing cultural exchange between Israel and China, which hosted the world’s first ever international ice sculpture festival in 1963. The festival runs through to April 30.
