Military Services

A citizen of Israel that is required to perform military service – also called Malshab – and who is living permanently or temporarily in the U.S., must arrange his or her military status.

Upon reaching the age of 17, a Malshab is required to settle his or her status through the Consulate. The process takes approximately one month and can be done by mail.
